Who and what is that?  A whirling dervish with no fear flailing about with pure fierceness.  My housekeeper’s son was obsessed with The Who, so I was too.  I still am.  Tommy was showing on our newly acquired cable, and I watched. I was in maybe 4th grade.   I wasn’t familiar with most of the music and I had never seen her, but I remember the moment indelibly.  Most of the movie is so iconic and weird, its imagery is unforgettable.  Most especially Tina Turner as The Gypsy, The Acid Queen.  So totally and outrageously free.
